Walleye habitat on Bull Shoals offers many benefits

30 inch walleyeThis is another giant Bull Shoals Lake walleye that measured 30 inches. This walleye was caught last year. Bull Shoals Lake is full of outstanding walleye and great walleye habitat. The abundance of sunken trees and other rocky main lake features and feeder creeks create the optimal habitat for walleye. An added benefit is the extended growing season that our region offers. Walleye can spawn earlier and hit peak feeding through the fall. Our longer growing season also positively affects the baitfish and insect populations that walleye love to forage for.
